Update and Details: Winter Youth Retreat 2026

I am so excited about our Winter Youth Retreat! (Sign up here by November 21!)
This event is called “Climbing Mountains, Crossing Seas” because we will be learning about remote missions (including a tour of JAARS which uses “special-purpose aircraft, boats and off-road vehicles so that unreached people can experience God’s Word and his love” and meeting up with some of our Wycliffe missionaries).
And to match that theme, we will have fun activities related to mountains and seas. We'll go to an indoor waterpark (Great Wolf Lodge). And instead of indoor rock-climbing (which was our first plan), we will be going to the Whitewater Center which has outdoor rock-climbing PLUS ice-skating, ropes courses, zip-lining and more! This will offer more options for everyone (even those who might not want to climb.) The staff there will also lead us through a low-ropes adventure where our group will work together through the obstacles. There will be lots of opportunity for adventure there.
We will also worship at a modern EPC church called Warehouse242. Even though it is in our denomination, this chuch looks a little different from ours so this will be a great experience.
And we might have the most fun at the house where we will stay because it has lots of activities like basketball, game room, fire pit, and more!
Each day, we’ll have time for games and fun, along with focusing on the Bible and learning about missions. Some of the details still might change a bit if necessary.
Check out the video and pictures below to get an idea of what things will look like.
