Winter Youth Retreat 2027

Winter Youth Retreat: January 15-18, 2027

Register by: 11/23
Cost: $250 (see scholarship info below)

Who? Middle and high school students are invited.

What? Activities at Ober Gatlinburg (skiing, skating, and more!) along with a worship service, hiking, and fun at our AirBnB. Additionally, there will be intentional discipleship experiences designed specifically for our church’s youth.

Where? We will be traveling to Gatlinburg, TN on Friday. We will stay here. Our Saturday activities will be at Ober Gatlinburg. On Sunday, we plan to attend a church service and experience Great Smoky Mountain National Park. On Monday, we will return home.

When? This will happen on MLK weekend (Jan 15-18, 2027). The deadline to sign up is November 23.

Why?

• Fellowship: We are working to build a community of spiritual friendships among our youth.
• Faith: We want to spend focused attention on what it means to know, love, and follow Christ.
• Fun: We want to have a great time!

Scholarships?

• Catechism Scholarship: If any student memorizes the answers to Questions 1-20 of the Westminster Shorter Catechism (what we are studying on Sunday evenings), this trip is free.
• Sibling Scholarship: If two siblings from the same family come on this trip, the cost for each is $200 rather than $250.
• Non-DPC Friend Scholarship: If a student brings a friend that has not attended DPC or our youth group (or has only come a few times), the cost for each is $200 rather than $250.
• Financial Need Scholarship: If a family needs financial help, just reach out to Kelly and we will work with you.

How?
Register here by 11/23. You will need to choose the Skiing track or the Adventure Pass (non-skiing) track because I will need to purchase different tickets for skiers and non-skiers.

After the registration deadline, I will send additional waivers and information to those who have signed up.
